HIP HOP & POETRY SAVED MY LIFE!!!!

I've come to the conclusion that HIP HOP and POETRY HAS SAVED MY LIFE!! I'm not playing, i'm not saying I almost died and somehow hip hop and poetry stopped that from happening. But forreal forreal alllllll the times I've been OD down, not like pissed but crying so much I can't breathe or think somehow I end up going to a poetry slam the next day or the same day or a hip hop concert. I would have bought the tickets a long time before the concert so I wouldn't know if I was going to have a bad day or week, but that's how hip hop and poetry work. They are there for me to guide me and BE REAL WITH ME ALWAYS!! This past week I got kicked outta school cuz of financial reasons, still trying to get back in. I lost a really close friend due to anger and stupidity(not on my part), and the guy I've been with for the past month and some change and I decided not to see eachother anymore and I was crying so much I couldn't breathe, I haven't cried that hard in 6 years. 6 years!! that tells you something, I really like this guy. So that was friday, saturday I went to a N.E.R.D. and Common concert, I mean c'mon a COMMON CONCERT!!!!! N.E.R.D. got my mad hype and Common touched my soul, he sang all the songs I needed to hear that night and he even broke down some breakdancing to put a smile on my face. HIP HOP, POETRY, HIP HOP, POETRY!!!! always there!!!!! I would have never imagined that these two things would be there for me like that, before I love hip hop and poetry what the fuck was saving my life? I have no clue and I don't remember and I don't care I'm happy now that I got H.E.R. and God willing she will never leave me. I still love H.E.R.
