Never EVER thought Alicia Keys would be in a song with Jay-z but the day has arrived. and I can't even front I bump to this song all day. I like the story of it and what he's talking about. And how he shouts out Dominicans in the heights, which no one barely done. And the fact that they say you can do anything in this city. It's so true. People forget how beautiful this city is, they say it's too chaotic and noisey but I find it the most beautiful place in the world. If you want silence and serenity go to central park. If you want culture, go to harlem, brooklyn, or washington heights. If you want lights and people go downtown in the night time. If you want to go to the beach, go to brooklyn or queens. If you want to spit a poem, go on the train. If you want to dance, go to a house party or club. If you want to meet the most interesting people in the world, just walk around the city. If you want something, you can find it in new york. I wouldn't live anywhere else. Not even somewhere close to here, cause close isn't close enough. I gotta be in the center of it all. It truly is a magical place, capital of the world. This little island, or I should this 5 boroughed city is full of things to discover and to learn about. And it has the best foods in the world, holla! I'm happy to live here. I'm happy to hear the loud spanish music outside every day. I'm happy to not need a car to drive anywhere, but to have the opportunity to take a bus or train anywhere for $2.25 I'm happy to be somewhere where if I want to dress different, or act different, it won't matter too much because new york is full of the most interesting wildly creative people in the world.
