So....I got a new crib. finally, and it's a 2 bedroom. so I was talking to someone about who i should get as a roomate and whatnot. Then the suggestion of a gay/lesbian being my roomate came up, she said she would not visit me if my roomate was gay. I was like WHAT!?!?!!? not visit me, she said that she respect's 'those peoeples' decisions but she doesn't want to see it all the time. and so i got tight, cause i'm not gay but first she said 'those people' as if they are of a different species, they are beautiful humans just like us. second, she wouldn't visit me cuz she 'respects' them but doesnt want to see them, what the hell then you really don't respect those people if you don't mind seeing them anywhere. anyways we got to the end of the conversation and i told her that i feel bad for any of my kids or my brother's kids, because what if they come out being gay you won't love them? and she told me that's a different situation. I told her she needs to get out of this ignorant, close minded, christian like, box and open her eyes because everyone in this world is beautiful and people should love who they wanna love, no matter what sex they are. But yea ppl stop BASHING GAY/LESBIAN ppl, they aren't killing anyone. Let them marry whoever they want, allow them to adopt and become amazing parents, stop looking at them as aliens. They are beautiful people just like us they just chose to love who they love and not give a fuck what you think or need your approval and that is amazing and truthful.
On another note, i'm going to a NERD/LUPE FIASCO concert this friday, HOLLA!!!!! can't wait...i haven't been to a concert in more then a month, that's very sad...it doesn't make me feel good cuz poetry slams and concerts are my medicine. always will be. =)
oh yea and today someone told me weezy, jayz and eminem are the best rappers alive..hahah there are some pretty dumb ppl in this world. SUCKS FOR THEM...now here's a real GREAT MC, that is neither of them...
