STOP! and take a good look at us because one day we won't be mowing your lawn but we will buying your house,
we won't be delivering your food we will own the restaurant
and we won't be supplying you with weed but we will be fighting for its existence to disappear one day.
Because like Martin Luther king said...."I have a dream" that it's reality is so captivating it's hard to even imagine.
You need us! this country wouldn't be the same with out us.
Actually take a second to think about that,
the country that most countries need needs us to advance,
to move on and to progress and we're just immigrants right?
We are not only Latinos but we are Haitian and West Indian.
Appreciate us and remember that we were here first but people don't know that because this countries history is cursed.

A little something I wrote a while ago just felt like sharing with you. I'm not an immigrant but I'm daughter of two immigrants. I am proud of where I come from, the carrbean, LA REPUBLICA DOMINICANA!!! be proud of where you come from no matter what cause every country has a beautiful culture and history that is something that should be remembered by everyone.
